The bus was built and shipped to San Fransisco in January of 1963. I have been its’ caregiver since 1991. The upkeep and restoration has been a slow, but steady, process over the years as the time and/or money has permitted.
Winter has slowed the body prep process. Once prep is done I can then start the actually body work. I started with the spray can automotive primer, but, it does not hold up for any length of time. The epoxy will give me great protection whilst gathering the needed funds for the body work then painting.
